Cary L. Voorhees

Animals have always been a part of Cary’s life and heartpath. After completing a degree in Zoology, Cary moved to Oregon in 1984 where she works as professional dog trainer for 36+ years. She trained rescue dogs as Hearing Dogs and placed them nationally. She currently trains dogs for medical alert, agility, tracking, scent work and companion pets.  Cary taught local 4-H classes in dog obedience and worked with veterans and troubled teens training rescue dogs to help them with emotional challenges.

Cary grew up wth horses and loves everything about them. She and her partner trained, rode and packed their horses throughout the Oregon wilderness.

Cary is a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and class co-organizer in Southern Oregon. She has been working with Jin Shin Jytusu for animals since 2009. When combining her knowledge of animal behavior and Jin Shin Jyutsu, Cary’s goal is to create a holistic blend for each animal. Cary lives on 15 acres of land with her partner Shelly, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 pony, 1 pig and 1 goat.
